The manager's house is an experimental two bedroom unit that we designed for the ongoing master plan for Ceylon miracle hotels. Developed as a modular unit to be repeated in the premises with its future expansions, the building adopts a low cost approach with the use of experimental materials such as fly ash bricks alongside equally low cost building techniques and exterior finishes.
To be built and reserved for staff members, the manager's house consists of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining/living areas and shared a washroom, all in a limited floor area of 800 Sq. ft., to provide a comforting stay to its dwellers. Located in a land with plenty of greenery all around, we carefully placed the openings to provide ample views while keeping the privacy of the residence intact.
